Batting first the seconds struggled to a disappointing score of 175 in their 45 overs with Martin Sills carrying his bat for 77no. Only Joe Rowsell (18) and Rich Ireland (11) getting into double figures. In reply the visitors cruised home with 9 overs to spare led by opener Bird (62no), Rob Chick and Ben Stevenson picking up a wicket apiece.

The seconds maintained their lead at the top of the League with another crushing victory by 116 runs. Jak Phillips (45) and Martin Sills (83) gave the innings a solid start and then Nev Coleske smashed 72no with 5 sixes to take the score past 270. In reply the visitors were never in the game and were dismissed in the 39th over, with two wickets apiece for Steve Drayner, Jak Phillips, Nev Coleske and Phil Thoburn.

24/7/10 - St. Mary Redcliffe 125-8 (45) Portishead 129-2 (34.3)

The seconds racked up another comfortable victory to consolidate top spot winning by 8 wickets at the Lake Grounds. Batting first Redcliffe struggled to 125 at under 3 an over with Rob Chick (3-22) and Phil Thoburn (3-29) the main wicket takers, Rusty Walker and Nev Coleske picking up 1 apiece. In reply Martin Sills (34) and Stewart Symes (51no) got the seconds off to a fine start. Joe Rowsell chipped in with 20 and Rich Ireland (13no) wrapped up victory with 10 overs remaining.
