Portishead Sixes 2011

Many thanks to everyone who helped out last Sunday to make the Portishead Sixes another fantastic day for the club.

Due to a late withdrawal by Failand & Portbury the Portishead Elite stepped in at the eleventh hour to help out and were rewarded by a semi-final berth.

Bedminster were the winners in Group A with Portishead CC runners up. In Group B joining the Elite were last years holders Clifton College. A special mention to Gordano RFC who claimed their maiden victory in the competition by defeating Twyford House.

The semi finals saw Bedminster and Clifton College go through for a repeat of the final two years ago, with Bedminster regaining the crown they lost to the students last year.

Group B. Twyford House, Gordano RFC, Clifton College, Portishead Elite

Semi-Finals:

Bedminster beat Portishead Elite and Clifton College beat Portishead CC.

Final:

Bedminster beat Clifton College
